Jonas Kaarnamets has been active in the Estonian music scene since 2012. As an accomplished live/session guitarist he has worked alongside the most successful local artists such as Erki Pärnoja, NOËP, Sander Mölder and countless others.
He is also the founding member of alternative pop/rock group Frankie Animal where he has refined his skill both as a songwriter and a producer. Having played shows and festivals around Europe (Eurosonic, Waves Vienna, Positivus) and reached the finals of Estonia’s largest song competition Eesti Laul in 2018, the group has proved themselves as one of the leading alternative bands in their country.
In the recent years, Jonas has been venturing out and producing songs and writing toplines for other artists as well. He’s worked with artist like Anett and NOËP and produced an album for Estonia’s legendary bass virtuoso Raul Vaigla. In the spring of 2020, he released his first solo EP under the artist name jonas.f.k which he wrote, produced and mixed himself. In 2022, he released his first solo album titled SUVE.
